Perfect location for exploring this beautiful walking city and close to SMN station. Continental breakfast offers a good variety of options. I believe there are better rooms than the ones we were allocated. Had two categories of room type due to a late reservation

Breakfast was phenomenal. Staff were fantastic, very helpful and cheery: made a restaurant reservation, explained where to go in the city for different things etc. A delightful feature is the happy hour hors d’oeuvres - it was so welcome after a long day of travelling, when you haven’t the energy to go out immediately. A real reason for me to return. Having an international TV channel Having a lovely lunge area where I could sit downstairs and read or have a drink Slippers in the room

Location was fantastic.. near to train station, restaurants and sights. Bed was comfortable and room was of good size. Staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful.

The location was amazing, the staff were friendly, but efficient and professional, and the decor was smart. The air-conditioning was very effective in the heatwave and the superior double was spacious.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were very cozy and elegantly decorated. The hotel is in a perfect location, being only a five minute walk from the Duomo and the Oltrarno. All-in-all, a very stylish hotel and the perfect place to begin and end your day in Florence.

Very well located traditional style hotel, well maintained, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast and check out at 1200 was very convenient. I would definitely recommend Hotel De Ville.

The staff were fantastic. The breakfast one of the best out of 6 weekly stays at other hotels in Northern Italy including some that were 5star hotels .. Great Location on one of the best street in Florence. Very quiet. Evening aperitifs beautifully presented. Highly recommend this hotel .

The hotel is in a great location. Easy to walk from the train station and everything is easily reachable. The breakfast buffet was nice, lots of options and friendly staff.

Room larger than expected and beds very comfortable. Staff very attentive and helpful. We walked most places in Florence and hotel conveniently located for that. Hotel had a daily "American" happy hour for which they set out various canapes and finger foods. Nice European breakfast buffet.

Excellent location, quick check in, lovely room. I came back late a couple of nights and the front door was locked but someone came straight over to let me in. Travelled alone and felt very safe.
